Roasted Chincoteague Oysters with Berkshire Bacon
and Chesapeake Blue Crab Gratin

 Recipe Instructions
  1. Place the bacon on a sheet pan and bake at 350 degrees until it is browned.
  2. Rinse and shuck the oysters. Place the shucked oysters on a half shell on a sheet pan.
  3. Pick through the crab meat to ensure there are no shells.
  4. In a bowl mix the crab, half of the mayo, mustard, 1/2 the lemon juice, lemon pepper, chopped bacon,Parmesan cheese and a 1/2 tsp Old Bay.
  5. Top the oysters with the mix, bake the oysters in a 375 degrees Marketing Ideas To Fit Every Budget oven for 8 minutes.
  6. Combine the remaining, mayo, Old Bay, lemon juice and a beaten egg.
  7. Top the oysters with the mixture and broil until golden brown.
  8. Shred the lettuce and place in the center of the plate. Using a channel knife remove a lemon twist.Top the lettuce with the oysters and lemon twist.
